Takes Place:
Sundays, 6:00 – 8:00pm (Main Hall)
Term time only
Links Youth Fellowship is an open group for Y7-13 irrespective of religious belief.
We meet at Monmouth Priory every Sunday in term time from 6pm-7.45pm (more likely 8pm before they all decide to go
home!) On an average night, there are around 20 young people participating across
the whole age range.
The leaders are all volunteers from a variety of Monmouth churches working together (Monmouth Methodist, Monmouth Baptist, St Maughan’s Church in
Wales) and guest speakers from various walks of life. We provide a variety of unstructured social activities such as table tennis and pool, followed by a time of structured activities such as drama, quizzes, team games, films, debates etc, and a short Christian talk/discussion/Bible-study/prayer time.
We also go on outings such as canoeing, bowling, skittles, laser tag around once a term.
Once a term, we host a “youth service” at one of the churches in Monmouth, where the young people lead the service, including drama, dance and music.
In August 2016, we went to “Soul Survivor” and plan to go again in 2017!
