Directions from the North

(Ross on Wye A40/M50/M5)

On the approach to Monmouth you will reach Dixton Roundabout, take the 3rd Exit sign posted Monmouth Town Centre. Continue on this road going over a mini roundabout and then straight through the traffic lights. Monmouth Priory is on the left immediately after the post office sorting office and post box.

Directions from the South

(Abergavenny/Newport via A449)

Take the left exit immediately after the tunnel when approaching via the A449. At the mini roundabout go straight over (2nd exit) Turn right at the traffic lights and cross the new Monnow Bridge, turn left at the mini roundabout (1st exit) and follow the road up through the Town Centre via Monnow Street and Agincourt Square (Shire Hall on right). Pass the Monmouth Museum on your left and the Priory is on your right immediately after the entrance to St Mary's Churchyard. If you get to the traffic lights you have gone too far.

Directions from Hereford A466

At the bottom of the long hill down into Monmouth turn right at the traffic lights. Monmouth Priory is on the left immediately after the post office sorting office and post box.

From Chepstow A466

Cross the Wye Bridge and go straight over the traffic lights. Bear right, turn left at next junction (St James Square) follow the road round passing Monmouth Library on your right, turn left at the traffic lights. Monmouth Priory is on the left immediately after the post office sorting office and post box.
